Based on the Intel Socket R E5-2600 platform, it offers four individual nodes in a 2U space, with 16 DIMM slots supporting up to 512GB R-DIMM memory per node. It has several considerate features and design for easy maintenance, including hot-pluggable nodes for convenient online servicing, total 12* 3.5 Hot-Swappable HDD (3 per node), removable top cover for fan module easy maintenance, and individual front panel per node for faster standalone operations. Onboard InfiniBand QDR (40Gb/s) makes the it highly available for HPC applications with high bandwidth and low latency. It equips with 1620W 80+ platinum redundant power supplies, enabling over 90% power efficiency for high availability and reliability. With web GUI-based ASMB6-iKVM module, it allows full control of the server with out-of-band server-based management in real-time remote monitoring. ASWM Enterprise software provides one-to-multiple centralized management, including BIOS flashing, remote control, power control and asset management, all through a user-friendly interface. For future upgradeability options, ASUS provides on-demand upgrade solutions including optional ASUS PIKE SAS2 6G upgrade kit for scalable and flexible storage options.
